Ventura started and worked the business
for 34 years before passing the baton to
his sons, Todd and Josh, four years ago.
Daughter Tiffany is the accountant for

Photo Lab.

photography field but Bill and his
family have remained successful because
they haven’t changed–they still put the

camera but it’s our pleasure to show
them how to operate it,” Bill explained.

of the bigger businesses, making it
difficult for people to understand and
get help with their purchases.
“There’s a
loyalty factor with our customers, many
of whom have been coming here for three
decades,” Tiffany said. “They appreciate
that we’re open to assist them Monday
through Saturday.”

photography students at Huntington Beach
High School, Orange Coast College and
Golden West College often purchase their
cameras at Bill’s, according to Tiffany.
Little did
Bill know that a part-time job he had in
a camera store while in college would
lead to a legacy enjoyed and nurtured by
his family. Who ever said “nice guys
finish last?” Bill’s Cameras remains not
